I know I'm a little behind...so I'm going to try and catch up but it's gonna be a little backwards. :)

Here's a little video of the boys circa June 2011.

Saturday at Papa & Nona's

We headed up to Midge & Steve's the other day to put up their Costco pool for the summer. Luckily the weather was GREAT and the boys had a blast playing outside as usual. :) Midge & Steve bought Jordan this power wheels for his second birthday which went unused for quite a while...it wasn't until just this last year that he figured it out and wasn't scared by it. And he was even nice enough to give his brother a ride. This picture was taken right after he ran right into Papa's covered area...and right before he ran over Eric's leg going full speed! Papa got it on video, probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen!
Our white trash play pen/pack n' play...but it worked! Yes, that means the little stinker STILL isn't walking yet!

Jordan relaxing in 4 inches of water!

slightly inappropriate but too cute! :)

Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum

Jordan & Dylan are inseparable! They follow each other around the house ALL day EVERYDAY! It's pretty cute to watch how well they both get along. :)

Dylan is the WORST beggar EVER!! We often joke that he's worse than a dog!

One of the few nice days...

The other Monday it was actually nice outside!!! So I took the opportunity to pull out all the summer toys for the backyard including their table and umbrella. Here's to the first popsicle of the season!!!

Jordan Update

It's hard to believe that my once baby is now 3 1/2 years old! :( He's the best son and big brother a mom could ask for. He drives us crazy at times but for the most part the good out weights the bad. He has a mind of his own and it's getting harder and harder to slip stuff past him. I'm learning that I have to "spell" the whole sentence to Eric instead of just part of it because he's catching on to what it means. :) He LOVES his little brother he taddle's appropriately on him when he's climbing up the stairs by himself, he gets him snacks (even when he's not suppose to), he plays well with him, and is great at sharing his toys. He wanted me to video tape him the other day and he said the best thing about having a little brother was "sharing his toys." I know I'm probably going to jinx myself but we think he might have grown out of his dog allergy...he's been at three dog houses now with no medicine (all by accident) and no rashes or any sign of irritation!! Woohoo!!! Now if we could just kick the nut allergy! He's potty trained during the day but still wears a pull up at night. He's obsessed with superhero's right now he wants to wear them, watch them, and play with them!!! He's already talking about his fourth birthday party that he wants to have at bouncy house...and I think we might actually give in...and we might even invite some kids from school...it's almost four months away still but I'm trying to prepare myself! Hahaha He's getting better at writing his name he can do the "J" "O" "R" & "D" I told him I'm sorry the other day for not giving him a shorter name! He's learning Spanish as school from Ms. Mary which is fun to hear; the other day when Eric was carrying him upstairs to bed he told Eric "vamanos!" And when asked what he's going to teach his new cousin he said "Hola Mary!" LOL He's Daddy's buddy all he wants to do is play sports with Dad when he gets home! He's still a great eater (I wish his brother would take a few notes) and a great sleeper (still naps for about two hours during the day). We love our little "bubby" and couldn't ask for anything more! Although I wish he would stop where he is...I can't wait to see what he becomes...

Here are just a few of the funny things Jordan say's and does:

Ever I Want/Ever My Life= What Ever I Want

Michael Cycle = Motorcycle

Ms. Donalds = McDonalds

Lightning The Queen = Lightning the Queen (From Cars)

Smickle Me = Despicable Me

Be Member = Remember

I wish I should = I wish I could/I wish I had

Have a Day = Have a Good Day

I'll Touch You in Your Eye Balls = I'll hit you in the balls

We Da We Da Butt Butt = Don't know what this means but he thinks it hilarious!

This Day = Today

This Night = Tonight

When we tuck him in and tell him to stay in bed he tells us to stay in bed too and not to wake him up.

Whenever you ask him to do something he says "First?"

EVERYTHING is a race! Whether it be driving the car, getting in the bath tub, getting changed for bed, going to the bathroom, eating a meal, etc.

When he comes downstairs after we put him in bed we usually pause the tv...and when he heads back up stairs he tells us "you can turn your show back on."

He was taking his time getting in bed and Eric told him "you mess with the bull you get the horns" and Eric said in an innocent voice "I don't know what that means!"

12 Month Stats

What can I say; our little guy has many names these days...

  1. Skinny Minnie

  2. Ding Ding

  3. Lil' Nugget

  4. Dill

  5. Die-Lawn (As in the five greatest rappers of the world...if ya know what I mean)

  6. Dill-Rin (Since Jordan doesn't really pronounce his name right)

  7. Two Teeth (although he now has seven; the name has just stuck)

He's got quite the personality and I can already tell he's TOTALLY different than Jordan! He's a pretty happy little guy. Sleeps from 7:30ish to around 7:00ish. With the exception of Saturday morning when he gets up at around 6:00ish but I think it has to do with the fact that Wednesday through Friday we have to wake the kids up at 6:15ish for school. As I've said before he's totally a Mama's boy and I don't see that changing anytime soon...which is totally fine with me. :) He LOVES to do whatever his big brother is doing and refuses to be left out when Jordan and Eric and playing together. He's quite a little tough guy, rarely sheds a tear when he gets hurt. He's a pretty good eater; not nearly as good as Jordan. He loves cheese, meat, and carbs; but not too fond of fruit and veggies. He's VERY noisy and animated these days. And has especially become fond of "pointing" at everything that he wants. If you don't get it soon enough the "pointer" if followed by some crazy sound to get your attention! We're rounding the bend to 13months old and he's not too interested in walking. He'll stand...but doesn't particularly like it, he'll walk while holding your hands, and will cruise around furniture but he would much rather just get down on all fours and crawl. He's definitely on the "small" side...he's wearing 9-12 month old clothes. He's got a longer torso and shorter legs so the onesies have to be 12 months and I almost think he could wear an 18month one but his pants are a struggle...his waist is so skinny nothing stays up! But all that aside we love our little nugget and don't know what we'd do without him! :)

Everett Childrens Museum

Although it's only a couple miles away we've never been to the Children's Museum until yesterday. Jordan had a lot of fun; he said his favorite part was the water table room and the slides on the roof. Dylan had fun too but it will definitely be more fun when he's walking. I do have to admit that I was a bad person and didn't pay for Dylan...as you know under 12 months is free...and Dylan only misses that by two weeks. So when I went to the counter I said "two adults and one child" and the girl didn't question me. :)

Dylan in the fire truck room Jordan coming down the slide, he was in HEAVEN!
Jordan playing the Xylophone

Dylan staring down a BIG chunk of gum under the Xylophone.

Cheese!

I think both boy's enjoyed the water room...we had to put Dylan's whole body under the blower to dry him off!
